Description
The Fairino FR5 is a versatile six-axis collaborative robot in the FR-series, built around the widely adopted 5 kg payload class. Rated for a 5 kg payload (maximum 7 kg) over a 922 mm reach with ±0.02 mm pose repeatability (ISO 9283), its near-one-metre working envelope and compact 149 mm footprint let it serve benchtops, small cells, and adjacent conveyors without the bulk of a traditional industrial robot.
Six rotating joints provide full pose control, and the arm can be mounted in any orientation for wall, angled, or inverted installations. Operators teach points and paths through a 10.1-inch teach pendant or a mobile web app, while the controller offers TCP/IP and Modbus TCP/RTU communication, optional industrial Ethernet, and an SDK spanning C#, C++, Python, ROS, and ROS2. Typical applications include pick-and-place and packaging, light machine tending and fixture loading, adhesive dispensing, inspection positioning, and welding cells with lightweight tooling. With a quiet sub-65 dB profile and tight repeatability, the FR5 is a dependable general-purpose cobot for flexible automation.
