Amy is the large-screen model in Alpha Robotics' humanoid reception line. A 21.5-inch HD touch screen, mounted portrait, fills the front of its torso; above it, the head shows facial expressions on an LED display, and the robot stands 1,500 mm tall on a wheeled base with arms at its sides. The screen is the point of this model: it carries service menus, product information, maps, video and advertising.

Alpha lists stations, airports, hotels, shopping malls, banks, hospitals, schools, government halls and restaurants as Amy's settings, and pictures it in corporate exhibition halls, retail stores and exhibition pavilions. It combines face recognition, welcome reception, voice conversation and voice commands, explanations and navigation, and it can take on counter work such as information inquiry, fee checks and queue calling when those functions are customised for the venue.

Amy shares its height, navigation and core functions with Alice. It is the heavier unit at 49 kg on a wider 650 × 560 mm base, and it trades Alice's sculpted face and 13.3-inch screen for the 21.5-inch display and an LED face. Its degrees of freedom are confirmed at quote. This reception Amy is also a different machine from Alpha's Amy food-delivery robot, which carries trays for restaurant service.

An ultra-high-pixel wide-angle camera serves face recognition, and 40 m LiDAR with an ultrasonic sensor keeps the robot clear of people and obstacles. It runs up to 10 hours on a 20 Ah lithium battery and recharges in 3–4 hours.
